+Winemaker Notes
The new vintage of our bestselling Malbec, Belasco Family's "Llama," may be the best one they've delivered yet. Sourced from the family's 110 year old vineyard in Mendoza, Argentina, it's amazing that they can make a sub-$20 wine from such an ancient vineyard, but we're glad they do.
Modern wine that is bright ruby-red in color. Ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blackberries and plums, integrate with the toasty notes from ageing in top quality oak. Warm, rounded and well-structured on the palate, this wine has a medium-body, soft tannins, and a well-balanced finish.
